EXTRCOOL Rear Door Heat Exchanger
Extrcool rear door heat exchanger is an efficient rack-mounted liquid cooling solution specially developed for high-density server racks, AI computing cabinets and modular data centers.Installed on the rear side of server cabinets, it absorbs heat generated by running IT equipment rapidly and realizes heat dissipation via liquid circulation. This cooling structure greatly cuts down indoor air cooling load, effectively lowers PUE value and creates stable low-temperature operating environment for servers. With compact cabinet matching design, the heat exchanger supports easy installation and flexible layout. It works well for new data center building and old facility cooling renovation. All products meet international safety standards, featuring reliable performance, low noise and long service lifespan, delivering cost-effective thermal management for modern high-performance data center systems.

Project: Legacy On-Premise Data Center Cooling Retrofit
We chose Extrcool liquid cooling rear door heat exchanger for our 12-year-old traditional data center renovation project. The biggest advantage is plug-and-play installation with no large-scale infrastructure reconstruction and almost no business downtime. It perfectly matches our original server racks and chilled water system.
After deployment, rack heat dissipation is greatly improved, indoor hot aisle temperature is well controlled, overall PUE dropped from 1.58 to 1.26, and annual cooling electricity cost is reduced significantly. The product runs stably with intelligent temperature monitoring, and Extrcool's technical team provided professional on-site guidance throughout the retrofit. We are very satisfied and will continue to cooperate in the next phase of facility upgrade.

Project: Old Colocation Data Center High-Density Rack Cooling Renovation
Our traditional air cooling system could not support the increasing high-density server load, so we upgraded with Extrcool liquid cooling rear door heat exchanger. The product has a compact cabinet rear door design, does not occupy extra floor space, and is highly compatible with legacy data center layout constraints.
It delivers excellent heat exchange efficiency, effectively eliminating local hotspots and stabilizing server operating temperature all year round. Meanwhile, it cuts down reliance on traditional CRAC units and reduces daily maintenance workload. Extrcool's RDHX solution is truly a cost-effective choice for legacy data center retrofits, and we highly recommend it to other North American data center operators.
